In her first solo exhibit at Re:View, artist Megan Heeres uses her fascination with the physical and psychological aspects of time to create objects and installations that push materials to their very edge of stability, investigating the delicate cusp between integrity and demolition. Heeres uses this palpable tension to infer her idea of the physical presence of time and the passage of it. The seeming fragility and haphazard nature of some of the works invites the viewer to pause and enter the artist’s experiential world, while creating their own paths of investigation.
