During the late 1960s and through the 1970s, some artists living in Detroit explored alternative, inventive and personal approaches to making art. These artists shared their personal vision by being in proximity to one another, making works that now mark an era in Detroit’s history that is regarded as significant.

Images from Detroit’s Cass Corridor is a tense visual montage. Combining original silent footage with newer video information. it brings mood, the art, and the art as it was being created to the audience. This video is a glimpse of a time and the artists thoughts as they continue to work- and look back.
