Risograph prints of existing artworks, forming a new artwork, none of the prints (of usually two images) have names. They were produced while the artist was in residency at Casa L\u00fc\u00a0in Mexico City this year.<\/p>\n
In this series of experimental prints, Tai turned his series of \u201cBad Artworks\u201d into \u201cvibrant new works, improvisations of color and texture by saving and re-running proofs through, and not pre-planning anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
Born in Detroit, Cedric Tai is an artist and educator who grew up in Northville, Michigan and received his MFA from the Glasgow School of Art. Cedric is a 2009 Kresge Artist Fellow in the Visual Arts, and currently lives and maintains his art practice in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
