This print work is part of\u00a0the “En la bruma de Lavanda” (“In the Lavender Haze\u201d) series the artist created between 2010 and 2013.\u00a0The paper in the\u00a0series is coated with different industrial surfaces, with some of them printed over reflective, or iridescent\u00a0coated papers.<\/p>\n
Santiago Cucullu\u00a0(Born Buenos Aires, Argentina) currently lives and works in Milwaukee. He received his M.F.A. from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and his B.F.A. from the Hartford Art School in Connecticut. In addition he was a resident at the Core Program at the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine. Solo projects include exhibitions at the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; and the Hammer Museum. Group exhibitions include New Perspectives in Latin American Art: Selections from a Decade of Acquisitions, Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York; the 2004 Whitney Biennial; How Latitudes Become Forms: Art in a Global Age at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; and Fresh: The Altoids Collection at the New Museum for Contemporary Art, New York.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
